IELTS was ok la... can't really complain much... i think i missed a question for listening... the voice was so soothing... i nearly fell asleep. LOL. wrote whole lotta rubbish for writing... hope that turns out well... the only real problem was matching the headings to the passages in the reading part =S
what really got me thinkin was the question posed to me during the speaking part...
"what are you doing now/have you done recently that is new and exciting?"
when i read the question... i was so freaked out... creature of habits, i am... i haven't gotten myself involved in anything new!!! =S so guess what i crapped on about? with the excess pressure of a stopwatch ticking down a minute... tick tick tick tick tick... i said...
... UN Day...
yeah..lame... i know...
i had 2 mins to crap abt the whole UN thing and i don't know why i started speakin at top speed... but basically i finished in about... 40 seconds? and then... -silence-
nice lady: *wait 5 seconds* you still have a little more than a minute.
me: okay... well...... *pause* um... i think the UN Day preperation activities have been a good experience... bonding with fellow team members *crap crap crap* good training for communication *crap crap crap* will help me later on in life. [in my head: OMG! what the hell am i talkin abt?!?! ]
but the whole speakin test ended quite well i think =)
anyway... back to the question... maybe i should get myself involved in new things! life is so boring! i can't really complain abt lack of time... i mean like, i still have time to watch tv... at least 2 hrs a day...shudn't i use it for something else?... [for the moment... to get my point across... i'm disregarding the fact that i have a mountain of unfinished homework thank you very much]
